hi the picture is at brno 1973, jeff gawley and kenny birch, leading the race but retired with a broken crankshaft. had super battles with klaus enders /ralph englhardt, also werner scwartzel. kenny and jeff got 5th world champions 1973
with three second places. french gp paul ricard, 2nd austrian gp saltzburg.& 2ndplace spa francochamps belgium.

hi all. my name is jeff gawley not geoff ??? ok i started racing in 1963 till 1977. raced at all the club races with vincent then bsa. got a bmw rennsport for a couple of years then built a konig outfit for 1973 . got 5th in the world champs list, did 1974 with the konig again. it was always breaking down. 1976/ 7 used yamaha motors with lots of good race wins then retired. was a super time . i had lots of passengers in those years. dave parkinson. dave smith. derick jacobson. grahame alcock. frank knights. peter sales. and the late kenny birch.

Hi I have a photo album full of Jeff Gawley and Kenny Birch it was given to me as a friend I knew had it and wanted to give it to me as she knew I was involved with or was in sidecar racing. I will see what I can do to get it on here maybe steve can help me cheers
