Had an email this morning from Ashley Martin in New Zealand
Hi Steve, after seeing on your site that Steve Webster has bought his 1985 LCR chassis back for restoration I realised that the race isnt on youtube & most people have ony seen the infamous crash on various TV programmes & not the race. So I dug out the old video & put it on. Thought you may be interested as it is a great race.

Dont think that the TV crews would be able to film at the crash scene or in the Ambulance now.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.
