These Dutch chaps names came up in conversation I had just after the recent Festival of Sidecars at Mallory Park,

Peter Lemstra came from Euro solo racing and was well backed up to Euro/GP level with an LCR Krauser, in fact Guy Scott was his chosen passenger when I first met him and his team... Lemstra's team manager (Kees) went on to having a lot to do with the sidecar World series after they lost FIM Status....

Hans Peters, I believe from a racing family fancied himself by purchasing good machines but sometimes was let down by poor preparation, and Jos was last seen trying to make the grade in selected GP's after running at the front at many early 90's Euro rounds



Anyone know what happened to these good people ?

i had a go with Lemstra in Assen 200 years ago. Never senn him in a paddock afterwards.
I have seen Hans Peters 2 years agon in Oschersleben. He is still informed about sidecar racing.

The Dutch Hans Peters died some years ago. There was also a German sidecar racer with the same name. Maybe you met him, Eckart. Jos van Stekelenburg lives in Pernis, near Rotterdam.
Lemstra's manager Kees Leijdekkers also doesn't live anymore.
