I seem to remember acquiring a set of sidecar beer "coaster" mats from the TT in the 80's, there was a similar picture of that outfit on them ! :P

As I recall they didn't get much further than this. They crashed at the Gooseneck I think.
So how long have I had these voices in my head, I hear you ask?

I got them going through the gooseneck in second leg in 1982 on video. Don't think they crashed there. :?:

Hi,
they crashed but repaired the bike.
Karl Heinz Plaschke is dead. cancer. They had at these days the same sponso as Reeves and Hock last year. Mr. Reuschling. Good to have seen him back, even if he had to quite his sponsorship, but he was there. I havent seen Waldemar for 20 years. I will ask Carlo, he was with them at these days. The bike was a Busch outfit.

I also bought those coasters with those chaps doing their stuff on their way into Parliament Square on my first visit as a spectator in the same year of their DNF (1980)

Image,,,,My claim to fame as a passenger came 10 years later with Dez on the exit of the very same square in Ramsey..

Image

Equally impressive images all the same....

PS, if anyone fancies doing the coasters for the Centenary can we have both images included please.....

Regards

Fritz,,,

I'm sorry to learn that Karl-Heinz is no longer with us. Eckhart, if you ever do get to speak to Waldemar please let him know that as a crew they are still remembered. They were hugely entertaining in their time at the TT.
