The weather on sat was very bad, and they had to abandon that days's racing. Sunday the weather was dry with sunny periods.

The racing was very good with lots of battles taking place all the way through the field. Sidecar bloke had some good rides, and displayed their drifting skills coming through Hannah's.

The SCRMC put on a fantastic meeting as usual with a warm welcome for those of us coming from the south of the border.

I had my new passenger Dan Williams on board who impressed me with his smoothness, and quickly adapted himself to the character of the IMP.

Just arrived home in the Island, but have to say also what a great weekend it was. Has to be one of the best meetings each year, no more than a couple of minutes to sign on and be given a very nice momento, different each year. Also Saturday's decision to abandon didn't drag on for hours or wait till someone had been hurt and then for them to run all but one of the full weekends intended races for us was great. After all this the meeting still finished at 4-30pm (still with smiling officials).
So next year make the effort and for some the long drive and as Bill Swallow said go to the best club meeting in the UK, run by the best club in the UK.

Sounds good. I just can't travel up to Scotland two weekends in a row and can't afford a week off work.

Now, just got to check these lottery tickets.
