...so the next day we had the Sidecar Race 2, as you maybe know I'm almost every day in or around the paddock walking and talking around, this year I visited almost every day the good people from Team "Past It", Robin, Annette, their lovely daughter and good friends, they had some problems with the fuel or something to do with that, at some stage the inside of their tent looked like a brainiac science abuse studio :D, because of the difficulties they had problems to get qualified, which they managed to do for the second race, happy days, I asked Annette were she wanted me to go on raceday, were she liked to have a photo of them both taken, she mentioned Ballaugh bridge, and so I went in respect of both good people and their unbelievable story, nothing to do with "past it", far from that, big respect...

...Kenny and Pete, one more time have to say, class what Pete did this year, he firstly qualified as a rider and when his passenger walked away he decided to help Kenny who's passenger also walked away, Pete had a bad crash last year at the TT with Dean and it took him some time to come back, his walking is still not like it was before and after raceweek his leg was not in the best of condition, but Pete's words with a big smile on his face were, "did it again mate", class man, big respect...

..."my team" John Saunders and his new passenger for this year Shaun Parker, John raced the last years at the TT with my friend Loïc "Lolo" Ansquer, a Frenchman living on Ibiza, John and Lolo had over the years they raced together a lot of mechanical bad luck, Lolo is besides a good passenger a real character but he couldn't make it this year, so Shaun came in, spoke to Shaun after they had a finish in the first race and he was over the moon, first time at the TT, but very happy with John and the result so far, John and Shaun also had a finish in their second race...

...not as spectacular as they were last year at the bridge, but in a fine safe style, as I said before no finish in the first race, happy to see Robert and Ken finishing in a good 9th position in the second race, well done...

...forgot to mention one thing, before the Sidecar race of that day there was the second Supersport race, went for that to Rhencullen, met there an old sidecar crew, Steve Sinott and Dave Corlett, we had a good chat and a good time...
