Cadwell 1967!!! pics from Richie

Unread post by steve-e »

http://www.steveenglish.com/2011Album/1 ... 20001.html

Starting on this page a load of pics from Richie Meyers, who has just scanned a load of photos from 1965/1966.
There are solo ones on earlier pages, but can you name the sidecar teams and the machines in here?

THANK YOU to Richie for sending these in, a wonderful collection from 45+ years ago.

Circuit is Cadwell. Your 'familiar' pic is the Scitsu.

I wonder why Richie's email says 1965 then? Definitely 67 Gary? He'll be interested to know I'm sure.

I thought you meant where were they taken.. on the front of the site Bob, or in the 2011Album, I don't know what's going on with the thumbnails for the last 2 albums but the pics work ok.

Jim and Steve
Definately 10th September 1967 as I have the programme.
No.8 in the solos is Martin Carney on the 125 Bultaco. He retired in the race and Ivy set a new lap record for the 125's.
Bob - No.20 is Dave Croxford
