Keith, do I have to run any oil containment if I run my . . . “le special engine avec no oil” . . ??? :roll: :lol: :lol:

Just make sure your classic has oil containment if you want to run it at the Pre TT!

Yeah right Jo !!!! I’ll put the oil containment under the engine as per the rules :notworthy: even though there is knack-all oil in there ! :o :oops: I’ll not bother putting any under the dry sump oil tank which is where the oil actually is !!! :roll: :roll:

I guess the oil tank isn't so likely to have a con rod come out through it and leave a big hole?

Agreed Steve, conrod not likely to come out of the oil tank, but conversely with a dry sump system, 4 litres of oil not likely to come out of the engine . . . . . . just sayin' !

It's all a power trip Steve, I don't even know what oil is let alone how to contain it really. But the chance to tell a load of men off, well, who could resist??
