HELP needed

Can any one help get Fiona Baker-Milligan (or know of any one who can) to & from the IOM for practise 28th & 29th May?

Due to work commitments, Fiona can't get time off during the day for practise week, but If she can get there and back a couple of times after work, then she's in with a shout of qualifying. (Will be there 1st practise - but can't rely on the weather or breakdowns to qualify that night)

There are no scheduled flights or ferries to and from the island coinciding with practise times.

There is a guy called Hughie who has his own private light aircraft I think Helen or someone on the IOM who may know him

Helen (The Witch) you are closer range than I am so a couple of suggestions for you.

1. Ashley Gardner (Flybe Pilot) might be able to help, I think he still has his own private plane, I know he has flown me back from Bishopscourt before.
2. John Mason of the Waldick Hotel in Peel. He as a private pilots license.
3. Pop down to the manx flyers club and ask. That is how I got to Bishopscourt before Ash fetched me home.

Can't think of anyone else just now.

Have passed on details of how to contact Hughie to Fiona (and details of a grass drome near her... most suitable places are a long way away)
Will pass on Ashley's details tomorrow... have contacted the flyers and am waiting for a reply... will try to find John M's details... we will get Fi here one way or another!

Problem with that would be that he's also practicing then... don't think he could do it all. Also it seems there is nowhere near that is accesible by fixed wing aircraft. Fi would have a long drive to wherever, and then back after practice... not really practical. :(
I understand Fi has an arrangement with a helicopter pilot/company, at great expense... donations would be very welcome... but there may still be a problem getting her back if it is dark... nightmare. :cry:
