A project of European championship for Classics sidecars should be born.
It will be held on five rounds being a part of an existing event.
The chosen circuits are Croix en Ternois, Assen, Chimay or Gedinne, Oschersleben and Mallory Park ( FoS).
About the accepted classes, it should be the following ones:
• Vintage, 16" wheels and capacity of 750 cc maxi;
• Classic, wheels until 12 " and maxi capacity of 1100 cc.
Soon more information.

Fanch,

That would exclude many uk bikes that run 13" wheels.

Most are though. Would you want to exclude John Perkins and Matt Kingsmill (and me for that matter)?

No, I just get fed up with people who think they know what is being raced when clearly they do not !

It sounds like the know exactly which bikes they are aiming at which is fair enough if they think they can fill a grid with these machines?

There are a lot of uk teams that support the Belgium races that will be excluded from this championship though Steve.

Get your facts right Tony, have you actually been to a Classic meeting recently?

Yes there are alot of 13" sidecars, but there are a fair few 10" sidecars aswell .
