Windle 350 / 527

First meeting of the year .........and of our lives........ The ex Eddy Wright Windle 350 lives again. Took it to Wales at the weekend for its first outing in its form today. It p1553d with rain on both days and after a slow start got into the swing of things. You all have to remember that this is our very first forray into running a sidecar and considering the amount of work that had gone into it during the winter the weekend was entered into tentatively. With loads of encouragement from the ever jovial Keith Walters and his passenger Alan (who had his f2 there) things started to move in the right direction. The little now 527cc GS motor didn't miss a beat all weekend and there was several comments of how sweet it sounded and how well it went. It goes round corners like its on rails, stops in a dead straight line and on a sixpence.

Weekends results........came second out of the 5 outfits there; ripped up the old pre 83 class record by 2 1/2 seconds got soaking wet on the outside and inside.....bruised ribs (Need more padding) entries now posted for the next meeting.......face aching from grinning so much.
