But worth every penny :D think how lost you'd be without a programme....and there's not always a shoulder to look over  guilty! ;) with printing costs etc; I don't suppose they are making a big profit anyway. Buy one, look after it, take it home and i'm sure there's an OAP in your village that used to be a keen motorcyclist that would be highly delighted to have a read ;)
Hey! hang on a minute . . .

It is true about the sidecar family - you can stop racing but you can never, ever leave!

A 25% price increase is a touch steep given the current times - I can imagine a group buying one between them. For the Irish meetings, I can understand a £10 charge for a programme, even a one day meeting as by and large they won't get more than a few hundred travelling from afar, but when 20-30 thousand people are paying an arm and a leg to get there...............just hope there's decent sidecar coverage in the reading.

I'll be honest, I wouldn't pay it. Especially now they no longer print the stats in the back.

It's one of the big bonuses of marshalling - we get a free programme in our packs. Gives us something to read when we're stuck on the mountain with no racing, no toilets and no refreshments for hours on end!

A quick THANK YOU in advance to Muriel in the TTMA Office, Alan, Terry, Liz and everyone who makes sure we marshals do get looked after though, it's a thankless job herding cats into string bags and I think they do it brilliantly :)

At £15 I'm going to think hard before buying one (heck that's 1/1000 of my next F2 ;) )
At £10 I probably would not have blinked.
