I read on the TT Forum that they'd hit a crow.......looked like a crows feather sticking out of the fairing

It was a bloody great cock pheasant went straight though the nose of the fairing, Eddie thought it had just caused a crack in the fairing, but at the next left hander Dickie saw the football size hole, and for safty they had to stop.
