Well done Bill, a lot of research and time that will be of interest to the future generations. Did you by any chance compile a list of the machones that the champs were riding at the time? 

you don't need a parachute to go skydiving.......only if you want to do it twice.

Was the championship held at a series of circuits or a one off like the ACU did with the British Champs at Oulton Park back in the 60's and then resurrected in early 80's.

In recent years Championship run between Knockhill and East Fortune, except a year or so in 2000's when East Fortune wasn't running Scottish Championship. Beveridge Park will be in there in the earlier years, and the more wiser members of the community can add others, which I am sure there are - Crimmond?
