Looks very similar to the street view linked Wal, and the white lines and kerb markings are the same. Shame there's a van in the street view blocking where the arrow would be but I doubt that through Laurel bank / Glen Helen there would be arrows pointing you back to the left side of the road? Probably just after a bit of a straight where overtaking is likely or am I wrong
Have to say I'm going from what Dan and Nick Crowe posted, personally wouldn't have a clue - I was thinking somewhere from Ginger Hall onwards towards Milntown, the bit I know even less. They both reckon it's where they broke down while leading.
