Joe Heys still has a 350 chassis up for sale I think...

Well it was voted on Phil - actual maximum capacity will be 364 cc (363.959 to be exact) - and regular capacity checks will take place - whether it will make a lot of difference is yet to be seen - but we will all know exactly what we are competing against.

We can't be sure when we will be out - the bike certainly won't be ready for Snetterton - so hoping for Oulton.

We've not had eye tests done yet - so can't send for licences - & have not registered for the series or joined the club as yet - so it's looking like we won't be doing the championship with the Forms needing to be in by the 20th.

Would be interested to hear how many bikes will be out anyway - anyone know ?

I did not vote as I was not invited to, despite being one of only 6 regular competitors last year. I too have not joined the FSRA nor paid the £100 ransom. Maybe I will, maybe not we will see.

Hi Tony - I don't think anyone was actually invited to vote on the capacity increase - the issue as far as I know was raised on the day at the AGM - I did try to get it added to the Agenda a couple of weeks before the meeting - but I was told it was too late.

There was a lengthy discussion on here before the AGM - about the capacity issue - and the only way to have that stopped was to turn up at the AGM and vote for or against.

I didn't go to the AGM myself - I had other things going on - but I took the view (personally) that the limited capacity increase shouldn't be a problem - as long as it was also a condition of entering the series - that engines would be checked at every meeting - if that hadn't been part of the deal - I wouldn't be taking part.

Whether it was a good idea to allow the capacity increase - only time will tell - it was promoted by the few people that want to - or are running the YPVS / Banshee engines - you know all that - but you probably do have a good point in saying you were not asked...

As the F350 series is organized by the FSRA - the vote on the F350 capacity was taken at the FSRA AGM - it might have been a good idea to canvas opinion from a few more of the 350 riders from the past 2 or 3 years - yourself included - of course - if enough 350 riders felt strongly enough at the end of the coming season - I guess that a proposal to reverse the decision to allow up to 364cc could be put forward - and a vote taken.

I hope you don't just "cover the bike up" again - it's not a bad thing to have a bit of variety out there - as you know grids have been very small - so if you are able - let's see you out there....
