This may be nonsense (I read it in a drift forum), but I heard that Sytec pumps made 2010 and before are pretty good, but they changed manufacturing base mid 2010, pumps since then have something like a 20%+ failure rate.

I like the idea of having an OTT pump (The 044 is rated far higher than I could possibly need) doing a small job, less stress I suppose.

Probably a falacy but I do know I havent had a single fuelling problem since I started with the 044, and I like having fittings with a bit of meat ont hem (I've snapped more AN-6 to M10x1.00 sytec fitting than I can cout, the AN-8 to M18x1.75 on the Bosch on the other hand can take some abuse)

Oh, and BTW Torques_UK are probably the best Ebay dealer I have ever dealt with, lightnign fast and really high quality bits for a small price.

Torques_Uk, JJC, and McGill Motorsport are the only reasons have any hair left this season so far.

Weve always used Sytec on the big LCR because thats what it had when we got it. Were going to use it on the F2 because it has the same pump as the big bike had and weve got a new spare. Weve never had any bother with pumps appart from them getting blocked with shite from the fuel bag. You know what our first bit of bother is going to be now dont you

Hi,

Do not attempt to run the fuel pump directly from the ECU always use a relay..(ECU is not designed to handel the current)
Nothing clever about electronics, it’s all about the smoke. You let the smoke get out and it stops working
