Looking at the times, must still have been pretty damp.

This was my first meeting, I came second to last, then last and we couldn't do the last race as my passenger hurt his ribs in a spin at beechers on the warm up lap for race one, he managed to start and finish race one but the pain got a bit much apparently. I never felt a thing.

Hmm, we went backwards when the lights went out and backwards on to the grass, I think you may have a point.

Geoff it had dried out for second race but there was a very strong head wind up railway straight it was like driving into a brick wall but we all survived hence the slower lap times

This was my first meeting at Aintree.

First race was very wet, visibility was pretty bad going down the straight.

Second race got a decent start, but on the second lap went straight on at the first corner, got back on the track but a few laps later the chain snapped, putting a hole in the engine casing in the process. :(

Still yet to complete a race meeting this season without going on the grass at least once :( I will have to work on this!

Still, I had fun which is all that matters.

I still have to complete a meeting in any season without going on the grass, infact as I didn't do the last race I still have to complete a meeting.

Bad luck about the engine though, at least I only broke my passenger.
