Running a 92' Derbyshire chassis with a "blade" motor fitted, in hill climbs and sprints. Ran it last weekend for first time (previously run tubular F1).
Pulls hard to the left when going off the line, also under hard braking , but that is probably due to being over braked on the front. generally steers pretty neutral.
using avons with 11-12f 14-15r 20c (same as we had on f1). Could the pressures be a cause...?
Any help much appreciated
If you're not getting any steering on the line, it will pull to the left because of the chair wheel, you might be able to fiddle with the toe in but for just the startline on our F350 (when we have the road gearbox in) I keep my weight as central and forward as I can, as opposed to getting on the back wheel, and letting it spin up instead... I've seen other F2 outfits when they've ran a 750 motor in the open class put the bike on the start pointing to the right to allow for the left pull!!

Thanks Marc,
All seems relevant, don't think me or passenger considered differences in body position apart from the need for me to alter seat/kneelers to push me forward. both for weight distribution and so I can get my a*se on or near the seat! I am 6'0 previous owner was 5'7, 5'8ish.
Makes sense, pull to left on the brakes was into fast right with passenger over back of seat unit. probably unweighting front too much....!?
Try getting your passenger on your back more so you have a bit more weight up front to give you steering only moving back if the rear is spinning (too much) or sliding may help
I have a handle under my driver's left arm (mostly found on Iresons) as well as the handle on the outside of the rear wheel and can pull myself forward or back for right handers and effectively use myself as a clutch for the traction on the front or rear wheel... Places like Park bend at Cadwell I'm forwards to settle the brakes and steering on the way into the bend and then slide back for the drive out... It can be subtle though, few inches either way can make a big difference...
