If you don't watch it all, at least have a look at the graphic of the wheel after the first race and then watch the second race.
Absolutely incredible race.
Must remember to stay off the grass

3 of them side by side, that takes some doing. Like the 'almost doughnuts' after race two :D Must've been a while ago to be "Czechoslovakia" not Czech Republic ?

Yes 1988, I see they were still referring to the Russians as the Soviet Union as well.
I'm not sure if there are any Brits having a go these days, there have been a few in the past.
I think RP used to know one of them, Andy Ross, now sadly no longer with us.
Found a link to a bit of a write up about Bits on Ice Speedway.
Never realised Neil Tuxworth had given it a go, though I remember he was a regular at Mablethorpe Sand Racing.
