Possibly because it was always painted red until about ten years ago?
Bill Organ had it in the 70s & early 80s, then Sean Mcginley followed by the Mad Monk and Ron Jones before Mick bought it.

Thanks Ian, the photos are Mick's, all I did was to post them - let you know when CR arrives. That was a nice piece of engineering, the only weak point is the outrigger bearing on the gearbox drive shaft carrying the clutch, that bearing tends to have a very short life span.
Folks do not try anything 'different' these days because the rules are so restrictive and hidebound but my views are fairly well known on that matter

This one was built by fidaman for ken hull aprox 1969 I bought a load of bits from ray years ago

Outfit is crmc reg and took part in their first meeting produces aprox 70 bhp so really not fast enough plus rider is well past it
