Maisie Colquhoun

Unread post by Ali »

Drivel is not the place for this post, but just in case someone sees this here and nowhere else and would like to help . . .

Iain Colquhoun’s 15 year old daughter Maisie is very poorly with a rare form of lymphoma cancer.

The fund raising focus has shifted from urgent treatment in the USA to making sure Maisie is as comfortable as she can be.

Stuart McGregor, family friend and one of Iain’s passengers, set up a JustGiving page with a fund raisiing target of £5,000 in 30 days.

People have been incredibly generous and we have just eight days to raise the remaining £760. If you would like to donate the link is here

https://www.justgiving.com/yimby/IainCo ... %3Asupport#/

Thanks again for your time and support [wave.gif]

I've got £25 to add from Richard Gatt. He hit the donate button on the front to me but I'm sure it was meant for the collection so I'll forward that on. Getting nearer :)

A message from the family .......

To all of the Maisie 100 family and supporters,

Without your amazing support and craziness for taking part in the Maisie 100, Maisie wouldn't have had the amazing input of energy and motivation you provided her to be the Maisie we know today. However, 'sunshine all the time makes a desert'.

Maisie passed away in her sleep Friday (13th) with us all around her, and as we said our goodbyes a cheeky Maisie smile formed on her beautiful little face.

Maisie was so very grateful for all of the kind messages and support you gave her and without you all as a family we wouldn't have been able to have had the amazing memories of Italy and the experience.

The money that was raised allowed us to take Maisie on holiday, provided her with everything she asked for and wanted to do. Without it all we wouldn't have had the freedom to fulfill Maisie's wishes; from these of which we have made some life long memories.

We are so very grateful for you all and being part of our lives. From something negative a positive will always show through. In this case, this is all of you.

The funeral arrangements will be posted on this page when we know, for anyone wishing to attend.

Love Kerry, Iain and Harriet x

Update , Humanist Service to be held at 2pm December 4th at Colney Woodland Burial Park, Watton Road , Norwich NR4 7TY ( this is just off the A47) and afterwards to Wymondham & District Ex Servicemens Club,9 Friarscroft Lane NR18 0AT where there will be light refreshments.

A wee bit of tartan can be worn if you wish.

Family flowers only please, but donations, for Teenage Cancer Trust may be sent c/o Andy Free Independent Family Funeral Director, Fairfields, High Street, Attleborough, NR17 2BT 01953 452455
Somebody has just unloaded a ton of Play-Doh on my driveway! I don't know what to make of it !
