FIDDAMAN WHEELS

Unread post by RARING TO GO »

Any of you illustrious historians out there have any idea which wheels Fiddaman used? I can see on the Pics Howard posted some time ago that the wheels were 4 stud types, even the front was like that.

Yep, Compomotive centres. Mine had 4/4.00" bolt pattern on front/side & 4/4.50" on the rear.

I have an 81 Fiddaman that's going to need an extra couple of wheels (for rains). Got the same reply from Compomotive. Was thinking about having some new centres CNC'd as the rim pieces are available. Too expensive to just do a couple but cost comes down a lot with quantity. Any interested parties??

If you could post a picture of your Compo centres - might have something similar....

Yes I have one that is disassembled, and that's what the centre looks like. Can take a pic if you want.

I was keeping these with the idea that I might machine them to fit the Shelbourne hub spigot - I thought you were looking to get hold of some of these centres...
