I suppose it was too much to expect that this country would preserve the world`s first purpose built racing circuit in its entirety, what a pity, Brooklands holds a few firsts, the worlds first suspension bridge, over the River Wey(quite short)the only (I think) racing circuit with its own mortuary, although in its history I think only 3 fatalities and I think no motorcycle deaths ,also in the 20`s you could take a flight up in a plane and circle round London all for half a crown (I remember it well)
If you want a bash round a banked circuit you will have to go to Paris and go to Montlhery, although the surface is in a bit of a state at least the French have preserved it.
