It's a daunting thought, it could make a lot of s/c peeps redundant. :(

Why reduce capacity?

2016 mixed 1000 and 600 two titles (F600 and F2 bikes) all in one race
2017 all on 600 (F600 and F2 bikes)
Find same regulations worl wide.
national federations should find own way to change

I'm disgusted
600cc engines are expensive enough right now without the gradual move to scrap the big engines.

Whoever proposed this change should be taken outside and shot.

How about air cooled Briggs and Stratton engines? They would be pretty safe :D

Can't say I've ever seen a competent driver crash because his engine was too fast.

I've seen compenent failure, driver error, bad luck, bad weather, bad decisions, but having too much horsepower available, assuming the chassis and tyres are properly built and designed to take it never killed anyone.

Nanny state racing, it's getting like Bernie's baby.

Dont the ACU think the "New and powerful Triumph 675" is too powerful for an F2 still?
I think they'll go with whatever is the most inconvenient and expensive for British Sidecar racers.

Hi
you discuss international rules, but i have not seen you in Oschersleben last year to the F2 world round. Dont start shooting before talking and understanding things. May be the future is too far away from you and your racing intention. Eckart

Hi
not many passenger are able to follow the power of a 1000 bike. after the two accidents 2013 and 2014 anything has to be made even to show something will be done.
everywhere the grids are going down. If you have all in one engine regulations (600cc, long or short) , you can use your bike at all championships in the world. This is also the reason to bring all federations to one enginge rule. Well done at the Southeren, another step towards the future.
bye Eckart
