The organisers are sending entries back stating there aren't enough entries to run sidecars.

Not really suprising there are no classic's there. The other year they had to put f2's in to make a half decent grid. The main reason might be that the Bob Mac is on the same weekend and you get loads of practice and normally six races over the weekend.I don't know the cost for entering both meetings, but I dare say it's more to enter Auto 66 for one day. Also even with the extra distance to East Fortune, most people think it's worth it.

When/where is Bob Mac meeting?

East Fortune, middle of June EVERY year.THE BEST classic race meet in the country, bar none
Sidecar enrty fees are subsidised for this meeting, thus keeping entry fee low.Looking forward to finnishing my Norton,so I can enter this meeting again.
F2 not eligible though John,sorry!

John as Tony says the best classic meeting of the year and if you saw my message about East Fortune last week all the facility's are great and Agnes Cadger runs a great meeting.Entrys close on June 8th.There is an international flavor this year with crews from France and Belgium.

Sounds great Dave. I do like EF but no good for me as only got f2.

I would not miss this meeting.

Organisers are fantastic and are so helpful. They put on a fantastic weekend. Practice, five races, bar and hot food, electric, trophies and wonderful people. It's worth the travel and I will be heading north for the fifth year in a few weeks time for sure.

Been to East Fortune many many times since it opened in 72. Not been to the Bob Mac though, must get up and have a look next month. East Fortune is unique.

John and Geoff you have to change from F2s to classic.Geoff you would not have such a sweat on with the classic yet still have fun.I have tried to borrow an outfit to do the parade this year but no luck up till now. With a bit of luck I will have mine ready for next year
