New F1 regulations FIM

Unread post by paulsparkie »

I was wondering what effect the new F1 engine sizes 600cc will have on the sidecar racing classes and chassis, will they still run the long F1 bikes or will it return to shorter F2 bikes or a mixture ? and the eventual effect on national and club racing. Be interesting on peoples views ?

Regards Paul

I thought I'd post to try and get some debate going, not that it will make any difference.
After racing sidecars for going on 45 years and in all that time taking an interest in all levels of racing ie. club through to GP races, I am now so disillusioned with the changes I have lost all interest.
Anyone want to buy an outfit? :( :( :(
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.

Thanks for the post plenty have read the post thought their would be some interesting comments as I think it has the possibility of rendering F1 redundant ? Just a view as the f2 boys are going great and reducing the engine size to 600 surely the f2 would have a advantage ? Not sure but just asking people's views, interesting subjet?

Cheers Paul
