In January, Scarborough Council declined a request, from the Auto 66 Club to increase in the number of races held each year at England’s only road race venue.
The council bowed to pressure from local residents who said the noise from the track was disturbing people living as far away as Newby.
However, on Tuesday the council’s cabinet will be asked to green light a change in motorcycle events from seven to eight days and hill climbs from three to four days on Oliver’s Mount on a one year trial basis for 2016.
