Mac Hobson and ??
Any help on IDing these photos? I believe the driver is Mac Hobson, and the passenger may be Kenny Birch. Looks like the same rig in both photos and possibly at the same race. My question is where and when were these photos taken. Anyone have the answers?

First pic, coming out of Parliament Square, Ramsey. Second pic, somewhere between Brandywell and Windy Corner.
No pleasure is worth giving up for the sake of two more years in a geriatric home.

I remember this bike, Cowie Bsa using a full works Bsa motor supplied by Burt Perigo from the competition dept at Bsa. Mac sent it back to Bsa for some minor oil leak when my father was away on holiday and it vanished. They gave Cowies 4 std motors to compensate the situation but there was hell on about it. Word on the grape vine was a certain Mr Chris Vincent found out about it and that's where it ended up. What ever happened to it we never saw it again.

Malcolm got his motors from the same place as we all did. They were about £50 a piece and a bit hot. Percy Austrin did all of Malcolms A65 engines.

That reminds me of the "Loughborough" Kawasakis of the '80's, £200 a pop I seem to recalloldbelly wrote:Malcolm got his motors from the same place as we all did. They were about £50 a piece and a bit hot. Percy Austrin did all of Malcolms A65 engines.
