I think that will depend on the make of the shock Joe.

Hi Joe, I have just had a look at the spring on the Maxton rear shock of the chassis you built for me and it has engraved on one end of it what looks like a back to front letter C followed by a letter S then 300, so I presume it is a 300lb spring.
Give me a call if you want to know anything else about it, or even borrow it.
