There will be something tomorrow in the MCN about a new team in the British F1. I don't think I'm allowed to say who it is yet but you'll be surprised and it should bring some more interest into the series.
I'm sure it will all come clear tomorrow, but take a look in the morning

Fans' favourite Chris 'Stalker' Walker will be back in the MCE British Superbike paddock this season, but not as you have seen him before! The MCE BSB runner-up and multiple race winner will be switching to three wheels, joining the Hyundai Heavy Industries British Sidecar Championship in association with Molson. http://www.britishsuperbike.com/news/wa ... lker!.aspx

will he be wearing his orange bib and riding as a novice? Will he ball cocks. Don't get me wrong I like the bloke, what I know of him, and its good for the sport to have the publicity but why should Stalker be able to go in at that level, when joe pleblic would have to start at the bottom of the licence scale.
I'm going off sidecars very quickly. Think its time to take up fishing.
jc.

But they, while their companions slept, were toiling upwards in the night.
I thought it would have taken a bit longer before somebody came up with that .Hes not Joe public though John and it can only be good for the sport, like Michael Dunlop when he rode at Scarborough.

I agree, he's not Geoff same with MD, but rules is rules. Where would we be without rules? France, that's where.
it's just annoying that normal folk have to stick to the system but then just because its good for the organisers, they bend the rules. Ignore me, I'm just peed off with the people controlling our sport to suit their needs.

Forgoodness sake John, pull yourself together and start thinking positive, Chris Walker will bring a lot of fans with him, he's always been interested in sidecars,he was a good friend of Steve Norbury's. And, how are we to know that he hasn't had passenger as well as rider on his licence for awhile? You'd be surprised who has
You mention the word 'normal'. What is normal? An answer ASAP please John

He may well have had "driver" on his licence but that doesn't give him any experience on a 200bhp 3 wheeler that handles nothing like a solo. He may also have been interested in sidecars since he was a kid and a friend of Steve Norbury's. I've been interested in solo's since I could walk and I met Joey once but I'm still shit. The fact is he will no doubt be very fast and probably safe, just like MD and Deano when they raced sidecars, but the levels of licence are there to add that extra bit of safety to what is a dangerous sport.
As for normal. normal are those folks who make up 99.99% of our sport. The ones who pay vast fortunes to race but often who's thoughts don't matter at all to the powers that be. Just saying.

must admit i know where john is coming from and it will provide a lot of interest. but rules are rules and as he says 90%are folk that have to abide by them, sick of the acu just altering to suit themselves again!!
Yep. Jed Pilmoor Brady, they'll be on the bike that Ian Drowne was riding in 2015, Gary and Jamie will be team mates.
A few people have seen the pic and assumed Jamie is on with Chris but he's told me he's not and Jed is.

Don't worry John - he's an MCE BSB runner-up and multiple race winner - and he's been on the telly a bit....

Had to laugh at this I heard somewhere... "You can't polish a Turd"
You moaners are back in the Vernon Cooper days. Times change , get real . Its got to be good for the sport as would be Michael Dunlop if he raced an F2 at the TT.
