Unread post by steve-e »

The owner said that its maybe a Windle chassis, but i can find a mail adress to Windle sidecars. I try to send the photo whith the mail :-)
If you can help, or help me with the adress to the rigt people its nice, maby i want to restore it and use it in Classic racing i Norway.

The only thing that resembles Windle (Windrick), thats what they were around that time is the rubber cone suspension. The front forks look Fiddaman ish, Its definatley not a Windrick though. ;)

I agree with Geoff, defo not Windle. The outfit Terry built me in 1975 had a rubber cone for the rear suspension but also had 2 very small hydraulic dampers fitted to the swing arm.
That frame has been chopped around a lot!!! Left down tube now isn't part of the bottom tube.
Strange forks & that swingarm again is defo not Windle.
Also looks like someone has attempted to make it rear exit?
Is that rear brake master cylinder fitted to the right hand side?
