Getting leathers altered...

I've been out on a f2 and used normal bike leathers but found my legs were just too restricted (I know excuses) so would it be worth getting them altered or just look for a set that's already had the legs flared a bit???? Any for sale size 40?

He's sorted a zip on mine but didn't know they did alterations...nice one cheers
