Unfortunately the Derby Phoenix club has insufficient funds to continue racing meetings this year. This coming weekend Croft with our fourth round of the FSRA F350 Post Classics and Preinjection Championship will be their last meeting.
This weekend’s meeting will be as normal and due to lack of solo entries they are putting on an open additional sidecar races at a reduced costs. Details of these additional races will be explained at a drivers briefing Saturday.
These additional races will not part of our Championship; we will still have our four championship races over this weekend.
I have been in negotiations will Melville MCC who is running a two day meeting the same weekend that we were going to be with the Derby Phoenix at Cadwell 20 & 21 August. So our fifth round will now be at East Fortune. This is a two day meeting with two races each day. I know this may be a further distance for some of us but to help with the costs, the entry fee for us will be £180 for the weekend and with electric hook up. Some of the older teams and me have been to this circuit before and Melville MCC are excellent hosts and the circuit is wide and safe. There are the usual facilities club house Bar and cafe.
The entry forms are downloadable from their Web site and hopefully I have attached a copy to this post
Our entry fee is £180 due to we have a new Championship sponsor who is donating Trophies.
Please support this round because Melville is helping us and their support for sidecars.
For the newcomers to our championship the meeting is in Scotland run under SACU rules our ACU license is valid and passports are not required at the border..As yet.
Please pass on this information see you all this weekend or contact me if any questions..

Disapionted not to be at Cadwell, however good move Dave,to put East Fortune on instead.
I agree with everything Dave has said about EF,but let me add, that it is THE most freindly circuit and atmosphere in the country, and as such they are an example of how to treat competitors and their familys.
If you think it is too far, then reconsider, because you will really enjoy the weekend.

East Fortune is a great track, it's well worth the journey.
