Hello folks,
I bought this outfit last year;
viewtopic.php?f=44&t=53391
Turns out it was built by Gordon Shand late eighties and he used it in the Southern 100 and Jock Taylor trophy in the early nineties.
It has been sitting in my garage since last February and I'm not sure what to do with it other than fiddle with it and turn it over occasionally.
What can it race in? (It now has an R1 carb engine).
Thanks.
Paul.

Hi Paul,
You can race it in the fsra pri injection class. That is for anything with carbs. That would be ideal. I can't remember when or where all the rounds are but you can find them in the dates section on Steve's site or get hold of Dave Tibbles. He's the riders rep.
Or you can race it at any club meeting running open sidecars.
Hope that helps.
Cheers.
John.

Contact details for Dave Tibbles 07740 098550 he can be found in the pre injection area of this site under Tibs
this is from the pre injection link
East Fortune and Mallory Park
Most are probably aware that our next round is now at East Fortune and the closing date for entries is the 9th of August I hope as many as possible can support this round as they have gone out their way to help us. Also the entry fee is only £180 for four 4 races over two days please put FSRA Championship on our entry.
Our last round is with EMRA at Mallory Park September the 11th I read that this will also be the last round of the Derby Phoenix sidecar championship which is also being hosted by EMRA plus EMRA’s own sidecar championship so there could be a full grid of sidecars so get your entries in soon.

I don't see the problem, you can race it in any club meeting.
I took the shell off my racing snail thinking it would make him faster.
It just made him more sluggish.
