M1 Junction 11A fire - big queues

problems on the M1 this morning due to a lorry fire... here you can see the extent of the fire and smoke damage. The lorry caught fire under the new M11A bridge.

Apparently all lanes have now re-opened, but a client's just advised there are still long queues

I was about to say 11A doesn't exist yet.. and it says that in the article

did you know they are putting that road in purely for Sis and Mark to get to the M1? It goes from the end of their road directly to the M1, and the other proposed road will go from there to the A6 between Bramingham and Streatley Village roundabouts, so they're doing it for me in the next stage
By the time it's finished Muck and Mark will probably have moved - don't know if I will, still have loads of stuff to clear out of the house before then

Have you seen the roundabouts they're putting in? They are mahussive . . . probably useful for getting knees down and suchlike
