On January 22, Jonathan Huet and his father were preparing the sidecar that he was to fly in this season 2017, a short LR2 chassis. A fire broke out in their garage not far from Pontivy (Morbihan).
The two men lost everything: the three-wheeled machine, the engines, the tires, the tools ... The pilot remained in hospital in Nantes for many burns because he was in the garage when the fire was triggered. He wanted to save his side car but it was already too late.
Jonathan was scheduled to compete in the French championship, at some of the world championship rounds and especially at the Tourist Trophy 2017. A fund has been set up to help him and his family.
