Q/S pin connection on Yoshi Empro ECU
Hi Guys,
Need help identifying the pin connections on a Yoshi ECU for the quick shifter.
Working on a Yoshi Empro ECU for K6 GSXR 600, I do not have access to a Yoshi kit harness to find out which pin they use for the quick shifter.
Spoke with Yoshi in the States and even they do not have this information ?????????????????????posting.php?f=3&mode=post&sid=4269f58f3 ... 03b99fa49a#

Nothing clever about electronics, it’s all about the smoke. You let the smoke get out and it stops working

Hi,
I am using a standard harness, in the standard harness the side stand switch is wired through the relay next to the fuse box, in the Yoshi kit harness the side stand connector is wired directly to the ECU, I need to find the pin on the ECU.

Hi,
I found this file on this site a few years ago. I didn't need it myself as my quickshifter is wired to the side stand switch, with a standard loom, must have already been modified.
Anyway, I saved the file as it looked useful. I have no idea how accurate it is, and I cannot even trace my own wiring as I am pretty immobile atm.

Hi,
I spoke with Doug at Yoshi, unfortunately they dont have that information. The ECU's and kit harnesses were supplied by Bosh and Yoshi no longer use these ECU's. Very strange non of the guys have the original spec that they gave to Bosh ????????????

Re: Q/S pin connection on Yoshi Empro ECU
Did anyone have a definite answer on this?
From what I can see if pin 15 on the black connector of a standard loom is the correct one it is blue with a green trace. That wire in the kit loom is blue with a red trace.
So if that is the correct one, does it just need 1 wire from the q/s to that and the other to ground?
Is the kill time etc set up in the kit software?
cheers.
john.

Re: Q/S pin connection on Yoshi Empro ECU
Hi John,
I have the standard loom and there are 2 wires connected to the old side stand connector. One is connected to ground and one is a control signal connected to the ECU. When you bring the signal LOW it will trigger the ignition cut, but you need to be in gear and doing over 3k rpm or it will ignore the signal.
The cut times can be adjusted by the Yoshi software.
