Formula 1 Tubular Chasis

Unread post by iomtt96 »

Formula 1 Tubular Chassis
Ex Dave Heywood
Dave's family thought the chassis was a Joe Heys but Joe has been to look at it and doesn't think its his.
If anyone can shed any light on the manufacturer please do.
Its got 40mm Kehins
GSXR 1100cc oil cooled engine (tuned spec unknown)
The fairing is not off this chassis but can be adapted to fit.
There are no brake master cylinder on the chassis
Koni Shocks
I think they are Shelbourne wheels.
5 Lockheed calipers
Krober rev counter
Its got a box of bits, clutch, alternators, gearbox etc
This is a project outfit really.

£2,250.00

Call Peter on 07976927871 or 07460856373 for any further information. Lots more photos available. Collection from Lancashire

Hi Pete, try & get in touch with Graham Parkin, he was a good friend of Dave's & he might have some info on the chassis?

. Thanks for that, I know Graham well and he thought it was a Joe Heys chassis also. All the family thought Joe Heys ??
Graham is in Europe for 3 months but spoke to him before he left.

Cheers
