Appart from the Birchals the star of the race for me is Tony Baker. 8th place 109 mph lap. 72 years old.Brilliant.

I didn't realise Tony was anywhere near that age but then he's been over 50 since I was a kid so it makes sense

Exactly.
I remember in 2014 when he told me it was his last TT because too much bruised. And I replied : "Tony, you began in 1985, come back in 2015. It'll be 30 years".
And in 2015, he finished with such a smile !!!!!
Like at Le Mans, this year, he suffered with backache … but on the IOM, it's over now. The good air of Irish sea !
