I realise this is an old thread but I just came across it and cann add some details. I'd say it is Stu Collins on the RG500 with Mac and I knew them both quite well. Regarding Ken Birch, he passengered for Mac in 1975 on the HamYam and they won the British Sidecar Championship that year. Actually Gordon Russell started the year with Mac but broke his wrist and Ken stood in for the rest of the year, I have lots of news clippings of that. In 1975 Ken started the year as mechanic for Charlie Williams, then passengered Siegfreid Schauzu at the Hutchinson 100 meeting at Brands, standing in for Wolfgang Kaluch. They finished third, pretty good considering Ken was on a right hand chair for the first time going round Brands the wrong way.
