2018 Dates

Thinking ahead to the 2018 season we will soon be talking to clubs about next year’s UK dates. Could anyone please provide me with racing dates like Chimay Gedinne to try and avoid clashes and the typical travel dates, is it go on a Thursday return Monday that type of information please. Also what classes of sidecars are invited to these meetings is it only F350 post Classics or is there classes for Preinjection sidecars.Look forward to your replies Cheers Tibs.

No pre injection,they are classic meetings. Chimay usually around July,and Gedinne normally around middle of August.

Think it's probably a bit early to have published dates - they will likely be as close to this years dates as possible..

As for travel / time off - you'll be hard pressed to do any of these in a "normal" weekend - a lot of the enjoyment is in taking a day or 2 either side of the racing - we usually treat it as a week off...

As Tony says "No pre injection,they are classic meetings." - the Belgian approach to Post Classic is based on dates (1984 cut off) & whether the bike conforms to the idea that whatever is on the bike was used "during the period" - for instance - no floating brakes etc, etc...there is a set of rules available on the website - although it is in French - although it's easy enough to translate...
