Motorhomes Darley

Unread post by paulsparkie »

I recently went to Darley Moor to discover no motorhomes by track side, I do not understand this why signs are placed around the track,Motorhomes that I have seen there park sensibly and inline as the car users do, I would like a sensible answer for this as for the life of me I cant think what harm they are doing apart form keeping people comfortable whilst watching the racing.I do not fully understand the British approach to Motorhomes as opposed to the European view where they are encouraged to come and stay etc with good facilities, power and disposal utilities.

Regards Paul.

Probably not insured if hit by a flying bike. It'll be something daft.

There is a lot of soft ground around the track at DM, many, many trucks and motorhomes have had to get recovered in the past.
Worked all week, it's time to play gonna get a little bit sideways!!!!

Paul,

The reason this decision was made by Committee was that basically a few motorhome owners took to parking their vehicles lengthways on along the trackside fencing and then parking another van or car at the back of the motorhome. Doing this meant that they were taking up the space of three or four car parking spaces.

So I'm afraid that a selfish few have spoilt the show for everyone.

Sorry if this decision has caused a problem for you and your family.

kind regards

Eddie Nelson
