I need to completely rebuild the front of the site, Joomla no longer functions properly so I shall probably migrate to wordpress instead, which is quicker and simpler to use - that way we can keep the site going and hopefully others will be able to post easily as well, the app works great on mobile.
For now, I shall post any news articles in here til the new site is ready to go

The temporary front page which is on a free WordPress host seems to work ok and is really simple to publish to.
Hopefully this weekend I'll get a chance to do a proper install on my own space using similar theme and layout.
