Brands Testing in April - Oulton Racing in May....

As you may have seen by now the Government announcements on the 22nd of February mean that we have sadly already lost our first two rounds at Brands and Silverstone to the continued Lockdown restrictions.

 

NEW: Brands Testing on Easter Sunday
With the first Brands round cancelled we have been able to negotiate with MSV the use of the Indy circuit for exclusive testing on Sunday 4th April - the Easter weekend. Solo Riding members will be able to test all day on Sunday.
The Saturday will be dedicated to Bemsee's 2021 Race School running from the GP Paddock Garages.

Current restrictions will mean that all riders need to travel to the venue on the day of the event as no overnight stays are permitted during this period. This also means arrivals are not allowed on Saturday evening and you should not consider parking up in the lay-bys and back roads of Kent as that also contravenes regulations during this period.

Bookings for Sunday 4th Testing will go live online from the 9th March.
Garages will be available for hire for the Sunday, max 3 riders at £10 each – book by email to Mike from 2pm on 26th March.

 

Season Starts in May at Oulton
There is some further good news - it has been confirmed that we will be able to run what will now be our first round on the 7-8 of May at Oulton Park on the Full Circuit. This will be run in the same way as our meetings in the back-end of 2020, at this time you will be able to stay overnight in the paddock (although local B&Bs and Hotels will still be closed for leisure bookings) - no spectators will be allowed and only minimal mechanic and family support in the paddock. As before, the rule of 6 will apply across the site. There will be more details to follow with detailed final instructions, we expect to go live for bookings online from the 13th April.

• Brands Indy: Exclusive Testing Sunday 4th April
• Oulton Park: 7-8 May (Friday – Saturday)......Racing over 2-days (Friday will be – Qual, 1 x Race – Saturday 2 x races)
• Snetterton 300: 29-30 May
• Cadwell Park: 26-27 June
• Brands Hatch GP: 17-18 July
• Sidecar Revival: 7-8 August (Will feature some Bemsee content)
• Donington Park National: 4-5 September
• Brands Hatch Indy: 2-3 October


We look forward to seeing all our riding Members again after what has felt like a long lay-off. The same goes for our dedicated Marshals, Medics & Officials.
