Our thanks to all of you who contributed to our Benevolent Fund Charity and took the opportunity to ride on a sidecar last weekend.
We know that for many this is a bucket list thing and we could see from the faces as you got off the outfits afterwards how much of a real thrill it was.
Our Benevolent Fund assists Bemsee Members who might not be able to work if they've had an accident at one of our meetings. We actually help Members who get injured elsewhere as well. The Fund will seek to tide a rider (or passenger) over for a month or so to help them get back on their feet. Much of this is done behind the scenes with no fuss and no publicity.
So thanks again, you have helped us to continue to look after those people.
We raised £6000 from your contributions, this goes a long way in helping our fallen riders & passengers.
We hope to see you again next season.
