The E- type was years ahead of it's time. You could buy one for £2000 in 1964. I was lucky enough to be apprenticed at a Jag main dealer. Got to drive several. ;)

Great, what a man i guess the film was shot for MV, i never seen him with that large MV sticker on his helmet or badge on his leathers

Well I didn't realise that they had cameras that you could get that close to a rider in those days. So some of it I am not sure is legit as such. Perhaps someone on here knows better though.

I think times have changed ;) He did add unless you hit something fast, which maybe is where things have changed?
And I don't agree now with 'bikes aren't meant to slide', maybe back then but if you don't slide a bigger bike nowadays you'll not even qualify :lol:

I just liked seeing the mega protective clothing paper thin black leathers with no padding & an open faced helmet with goggles and no gloves 8) ;)
