family still involved with aintree club

Yep Les, Eric Amman rode with Les, he is uncle to Lyndsey Hurst, did the GP's in the 80's.
Eric also rode with Vince Winstanley.

Eric still races classic solo

Last bumped into Les doing some of the organising at an Aintree event probably around 2002 when Dan was racing solo's.

Told me he was sorry to hear my Dad had passed away.

So was I.

I'd just sent him to get the beers.

John and sadie were both at aintree earlier this year

both doing good

john was also spectating at oulton, top of clay hill, when i rolled my outfit in 2004
