I had a lad come round wanting to buy my Range Rover the other day....the subject of Sidecars came up and his mate said "do you know Des and Chris Founds". Turns out this lad came from a place called Nesten or something like that

had the privilage of being loaned petes ireson 600 yam to ride at the 2005 TT,also had young Alan as passenger(top bloke) ,Chris supplied alot of sponsorship and the bike carriad logos from his world champ team, Des sailed to the isle of man and provided us with help and usual dose of comady! the whole founds clan are fantastic people and im proud to know them.In the early nineties ,we had fantastic times and good hard racing, and my proudest moment was just beating Des andDickie Gale at the 1995 TT,1992 at Geddine,Wow! and as for New Brighton ,has to one of the hardest races ive ever had,Des ,thanks for the memories.would love to race TT with a modern outfit with Pete or Alan as passengers.

They are all still about just frequenting different paddocks. Saw big Phil at the pre TT classic & Franco at Jehonville classics spectating on his way back from racing at Spa.
So rose tinted specs not required just decent specs so you can look further afield I think.
sometimes gofer & drunken chef to classic team
