Old bike, new idea

Unread post by Fanch »

A friend of mine gave me some scanned pages of a French motorcycle newspaper, Moto Revue, and it's so amazing that I can't resist to show them.

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen, what's about that !!

Thanks Fanch - interesting :)

Unsure as to how effective the chain driven layshaft might be from the gearbox sprocket to the rear wheel and whether some form of tensioner mat be needed. From the layout of the drive to the rear wheel it seems as though rear suspension may be at best difficult if not impossible due to the movement arc of that wheel being in front other secondary drive which seems to have no movement :!:

Of course not Steve, you're a passenger, so stick to what you do best, providing empties for recycling for the Larder/English racing fund, hanging about the team in the paddock, signing autographs and looking decorative :P Oh I forgot, keeping an eye on the Forum 8-)

Get Fanch to PM you in French, should all become clear then ...
